Thomas J. "Tom" Peters is an American
writer on business management practices, best known for In Search of Excellence
(co-authored with Robert H. Waterman, Jr).
1982 – In Search of Excellence (co-written
with Robert H. Waterman,
Jr.)
It's his popular book. It started a trend of
researching what "best" companies do and trying to replicate those ideas.
However, over time it has been seen that some of those "best"
companies have become "junk" shares. Thus, there are rightful
skeptics. But I still think it is a good read too.
1985 – A Passion for Excellence (co-written
with Nancy Austin)
It is good to read.
1987 – Thriving on Chaos
It consists of quite a good number of case
studies. It is good to read.
1992 - Liberation Management by Tom Peters
This is quite long - around 750 pages. But it is
a huge collection of case studies and quite easy to read.
I highly recommend it.
