Technical Analysis of BD Thai on 19 Jan 2017: Part 2

Technical Analysis of BD Thai on 19 Jan 2017 (after trading hours)

Hope you enjoyed the first leg of the virtual trip on Thai which gave market beating returns for an “average” company”: http://imti77az.blogspot.com/2016/12/technical-analysis-of-bd-thai-on-16-dec.html

I am assuming the first run ended on 17 Jan 2017 at 32.5

Now, it’s time for the aircraft to re-fuel.

During this time, we could look at possible Fibo retracement scenarios.

Technically, if BD Thai falls on declining volume to around 24-26 zone and then reverses on a “good” candle – one could board the second flight (~27 is 38% Fibo level).

Stop loss would be 23 when the flight needs to be abandoned!!!

*(Note: TA is not a Science; it works 60-70% of the time so don’t be hooked on to the exact numbers – please allow some flexibility).

Best wishes . . .

DSEX Index: Contrarian Thoughts

DSEX Index: Contrarian Thoughts

At last the Index yielded a bit. Let's see if the MNCs can come to the rescue . . .

The bears have been late coming out of Hibernation - or is it still Winter?

It was difficult for this foolish Contrarian to re-position when most of the crowd were buying, buying, buying . . .

I am forcing myself to stop here - being pessimistic might spoil the party mood of the crowd.

I thought I would reminisce about a couple of previous articles on Contrarian Approach - might come in handy in the coming days . . .

Best wishes as always . . .

Technical Analysis of BNICL on 17 Jan 2017

Technical Analysis of BNICL on 17 Jan 2017 (after trading hours)

This is no buy/sell recommendation - just a trial to see if Technical Analysis (works to an extent) in Dhaka Stock Exchange.

This is an analysis where I admit that Technical Analysis is not always sufficient (but there are Hundreds of Stocks - so a TA can choose those whose patterns work most of the time).

It is an IPO that has crossed a recent high in this crazy Bull Market - now, Sky is the Limit.

I am putting it up as it might offer opportunities for speculators and/or Fundamental Analysts who might be able to project the price of BNICL.

As it is an IPO, I do not have historical data. But its reported quarterly profits are increasing. Probably it will give dividends soon and thus, the speculation.

It is not moving as per Fibo retracements – still I will try to use Fibo Extension for those who want to use it as a guide for trading. Today’s candle without a wick at top would have been better.

It is a High-Risk move – but it is your call and your stop loss (I would set it at 20).

Best wishes to The Risk takers . . .
