Technical Analysis of LHB Part - 2

This is no buy/sell recommendation - just a trial to see if Technical Analysis (works to an extent) in Dhaka Stock Exchange.

LHB is a good cement company. Even during this dull quarter, it performed well and gave interim dividend.

It got support ~50 (low was 49.70) in the support zone mentioned in previous analysis

https://imti77az.blogspot.com/2025/09/technical-analysis-of-lhb.html

When the economy rebounds, it is likely to do better. Thus, it could be considered for mid-term investment.

Likely to go 67~70 by Q1 2026, if not higher.

In the meantime, there are few resistance zones above.

Support Zone is 48 to 50.

Technical Analysis of Square Pharma

This is no buy/sell recommendation - just a trial to see if Technical Analysis (works to an extent) in Dhaka Stock Exchange.

Sq Ph is the market leader in Pharma sector.

After June-July rally from ~199 to ~234, it has undergone significant correction.

It is coming to Support zone.

We need to watch where the fall stops.

Technical Analysis of EBL - 6 Oct 2025

This is no buy/sell recommendation - just a trial to see if Technical Analysis (works to an extent) in Dhaka Stock Exchange.

EBL achieved its target early: https://imti77az.blogspot.com/2025/05/ebl-as-investment-option-2-of-20.html

However, after hitting High of 27.4 in end of August, the chart does not look good technically.

Too much volume stuck above 24 level.

We need to watch where the fall stops.

Is there any fundamental issue? Need to wait for Q3.

Good Open End Fixed Income Mutual Fund - 28 Sep 25

There are a few good open ended MF in Bangladesh.

Considering NAV trend from 29 June 2025 to 28 Sep 2025, these two have performed very well:

VIPB Fixed Income Fund

UCB Income Plus Fund

30 Sep 25 portfolio not updated yet. But based on 30 June 2025 portfolio, their holdings are:

VIPB:

Around 20% in 3 Stocks - BRAC, Marico and Sq Pharma.

~8% in BRAC Bank 2nd Subordinated Bond

~68% in long-term Govt Treasury Bonds.

UCB:

Mostly comprised of long-term Govt Treasury Bonds.

With yields in most instruments dropping below 10%, these are likely to give returns in future.

If one desires only safe Govt Treasury Bonds, then UCB preferable.

If one wants to have the option of capital gain also, then VIPB also good.

Please check the portfolio and MF "terms & conditions" before making decision.
